Q: What information does the dishwasher's display provide?
A: The digital display shows the remaining time for the current wash cycle and includes indicator lights to alert you when the rinse aid needs refilling.
Q: Why won’t my dishwasher start?
A: If your dishwasher isn't starting:
- Check the power connection: Make sure it’s plugged in securely and that the circuit breaker hasn’t tripped. Reset the breaker if needed.
- Ensure the door is closed properly: The dishwasher won’t run unless the door is firmly latched.
- Control lock may be active: Some models have a "control lock" to prevent accidental use. Refer to the manual to disable it.
- Try a reset: Unplug the dishwasher for about one minute to perform a soft reset.
Q: Why aren’t my dishes getting clean?
A: Your dishwasher may not be clean properly due to:
- Water supply issues: Confirm that the water valve under the sink is fully open. The unit may stop if it detects no water.
- Dirty filter: Remove and rinse the filter located at the bottom of the tub to remove food debris.
- Clogged spray arms: Detach the spray arms and use a toothpick or similar tool to clear food particles from the spray holes.
