At ShopAppliances.com, customer satisfaction is our top priority. To ensure your shopping experience remains easy and stress-free, we've outlined our straightforward Return Policy below.

General Return Guidelines

  • Return Window: Items can be returned within 60 days from the delivery date. Items returned after 60 days are not eligible for refunds.
  • Condition of Returned Items: Products must be unused, in new condition, and include original packaging, manuals, accessories, and parts. Installed or visibly used items may either be ineligible for return or, if approved as open-box, subject to a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping costs.
  • Proof of Purchase: Returns must include proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation number, receipt, or invoice.

How to Initiate a Return

  • Contact Customer Service: Reach our Customer Support team via Live Chat, our Online Support Ticket System, or by phone at (646) 461-6811 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Package the Item: Securely pack the product in its original packaging, including all accessories and manuals. Clearly indicate your RMA number on the package.
  • Provide Required Photos: To help our team expedite your claim, please share the following photos with your support representative:
    • If the unit is out of the box or damaged:
      • Inner packaging of the box
      • All four sides of the box, including the top and bottom (mark or identify any visible damage)
      • All four sides of the unit without the box (mark or identify any visible damage)
      • Clear image of the shipping label showing the tracking number
      • Photo of the serial tag on the unit displaying the model and serial number
      • Photo of the serial tag on the box
    • If the unit is still in the box:
      • All four sides of the box, including the top and bottom (mark or identify any visible damage)
      • Clear image of the shipping label showing the tracking number
      • Photo of the serial tag on the box displaying the model and serial number (please do not open the box)
  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the return is due to a ShopAppliances.com error (such as receiving an incorrect or defective product). Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • Inspection & Refund Process: Upon receipt, our team will inspect your returned item. Refunds are issued once the unit is picked up by our carrier and inspected by our team. Please allow up to 7 days from pickup to receive your refund back to the original payment method.

Return Eligibility & Exceptions

  • Custom Orders: Custom-built or special-order products cannot be returned unless defective or damaged.
  • Large Appliances: All large appliances will incur a 10% restocking fee when returned in unopened, new condition plus return shipping costs. Approved open-box large appliances are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping costs. Installed appliances are non-returnable unless proven defective or damaged.
  • Clearance & Final Sale Items: All clearance and final sale items are non-returnable.
  • Damaged or Defective Items: Notify our Customer Support within 48 hours of delivery. After reviewing the issue, you may choose one of the following resolutions:
    • Replacement Part Repair: If the issue is limited to a specific component and a replacement part is available from the manufacturer, we can arrange to have the part shipped and assist you with resolving the issue.
    • Damage Allowance (Courtesy Credit): In some cases, we may offer a damage allowance, which is a partial refund or discount allowing you to keep the unit as-is. This is often the fastest and most popular option.
    • Return Pickup & Full Refund: If the unit cannot be reasonably repaired, we can arrange a return pickup and issue a full refund once the unit is returned and approved.
    • Return, Refund & Purchase a New Unit: If you prefer a replacement, we can process a return and refund of the original order, and then provide a new invoice so you can purchase a replacement unit.
    When damage or defects are confirmed, return shipping costs are covered.

Exchanges & Restocking Fees

  • Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item, please contact Customer Support for availability. Exchanges can only be processed prior to shipping. If the product is unavailable, a refund or alternative solution will be provided.
  • Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of 10% applies to all unopened large appliances. Return shipping costs apply to restocking fee returns. Approved open-box returns, including large appliances, incur a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping costs. Installed appliances remain non-returnable unless defective or damaged. No restocking fee applies to unopened, new-condition items excluding large appliances.

Order Cancellation Policy

  • Before Shipment: Orders canceled prior to shipment will receive a full refund.
  • After Shipment: Orders can be canceled while in transit, but a 10% restocking fee plus return shipping costs will apply. Please initiate a return after delivery following our standard return guidelines.
