Frequently Asked Questions by Customers
-
What does the “Steam Refresh” cycle actually do?
The Steam Refresh cycle uses a brief application of heat + water vapour to smooth out light wrinkles and reduce odours in clothing items that don’t need a full wash-and-dry.
-
How does the “Advanced Moisture Sensing” work, and is it reliable?
It uses three sensors (two strip-type moisture sensors plus temperature measurement) to monitor the load and end the cycle when the target dryness is reached — which helps avoid overdrying and protects fabric.
-
Can this dryer be stacked or placed in a tight laundry space (closet depth)?
Yes with a 27″ width and ~31″ depth, this model is designed to fit in typical laundry spaces and is described as “closet-depth fit”.
-
Which cycles/options should I use if I want to save power or be more energy-efficient?
Use the EcoBoost™ option, which runs with lower heat over a longer time for better energy usage. Also, use sensor drying (automatic dryness) instead of timed cycles to avoid waste.
-
How many load size/fabric type options are there and how intuitive are the controls?
The unit offers intuitive controls: it’s designed to guide you via “What to Dry” + “How to Dry” layout, and lets you customise up to 36 cycles.
-
Are there particular maintenance or installation issues I should know (especially for India/Chennai setup)?
Yes you’ll need to confirm the correct electrical specification (this model is 240 V / 30 A in the US). Also, lint filter and venting must be kept clean for optimal performance; moisture sensors can become less accurate if the strips get coated with residue (e.g., dryer-sheet wax).
