The Certified HEPA material we use is rated to capture 99.97% of airborne particles down to .3 microns and 99% of airborne particles down to .1 microns. This includes viruses*, bacteria, dust, dander and allergens. The carbon blend used in this filter will also effectively remove chemicals, gases and odors. The Austin Air HealthMate will significantly improve the quality of air in your home.
*Viruses such as the flu, covid-19, pertussis, and RSV are considered airborne viruses. The Medical Grade HEPA technology used in the Austin Air filters is proven to remove up to 99% of all airborne contaminants down to 0.1 microns.
