Why Choose Friedrich® Floating Air™ Ductless Mini-split Systems
Designed to excel in both residential applications and light commercial applications, Friedrich Floating Air mini-split systems can efficiently heat one room, multiple rooms or whole homes. With ductless systems you experience:
Zero Duct Loss
According to the DOE, ducted systems lose an average of 25–40% in performance due to leaks, cracks, or disconnections in ductwork. No ductwork means that ductless systems do not experience duct loss, saving energy and money
Heating & Cooling Flexibility
Friedrich Floating Air units are available in single-zone or multi-zone systems, making it easy to find the heating and cooling solution to best fit your needs.
No Dirty Ducts
With a ductless system, there’s no need to clean dirty air ducts that can harbor dust, germs, and allergens.
Total Installation Flexibility
With Friedrich Floating Air systems, you can mix and match your outdoor unit with various indoor unit types: wall-mounted, ceiling cassettes, Insider® concealed ducted models and even a ducted air handler.
Multi-zone Systems
A multi-zone system is best if you’re looking for customized and efficient comfort for multiple rooms. Multi-zone systems allow you to set room-by-room temperature preferences for up to five zones. Plus, occupants can set the temperature of each zone to their preferred comfort level or turn off units in unoccupied rooms without impacting other zones
