Frequently Asked Questions-
Q1: How do I connect the range to Wi-Fi?
A: Install the SmartHQ™ app, set up an account, and follow the on-screen instructions to link your range. Make sure your home network is using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal.
Q2: What is No Preheat Air Fry and how do I use it?
A: Choose the Air Fry setting from the oven controls, arrange your food on a rack or baking tray, and start cooking—no preheating needed for crisp results.
Q3: How do I clean the oven?
A: Remove the EasyWash™ Oven Tray and clean it in the sink or dishwasher. Use Steam Clean for light residue or run a self-clean cycle for tougher buildup.
Q4: Can I use aluminum foil or oven liners?
A: Avoid placing foil over vents or racks, as it restricts airflow and can impact cooking performance. Only use GE-approved liners if you choose to use one.
Q5: Why does the ignition make a clicking sound?
A: Moisture on the knobs or igniters after cleaning can cause continued clicking. Allow them to dry fully. If it keeps happening, reach out to GE service.
Q6: My oven isn’t heating properly—what should I do?
A: Verify that the temperature is set correctly. If the problem remains, the thermostat might be faulty and may need to be replaced.
Q7: How do I activate Sabbath Mode?
A: Go to Settings, select Sabbath Mode, and confirm your choice. This turns off automatic shutoff and certain alerts for observance.
Q8: What cookware works best on the gas cooktop?
A: Choose pans with flat bottoms for the most even heat distribution and avoid using oversized cookware that can cover nearby burners.
Q9: Does the griddle come with the range?
A: Yes—this model, the GGS600AVDS, includes a large built-in nonstick griddle for flexible cooking options.
Q10: How fast does the oven preheat?
