-
Good Storage Capacity for Size: Holds up to 29 standard 750 ml bottles on five wooden shelves, generous for a small unit. Shelves can be removed to accommodate larger bottles like Burgundy styles.

Temperature & Climate Control: Digital thermostat with precise controls and readout in °F or °C (41 °F–68 °F), suitable for most wines (reds, whites, sparkling). Internal fan distributes cool air evenly.
-
Useful Features: Temperature memory restores settings after power loss. Door-open and high/low temperature alarms protect wine quality. Lock and Sabbath mode add security and optional lighting/alarm control. Includes anti-tip bracket for safety.
-
Eco & Safety Considerations: Uses CARB-compliant, eco-friendly refrigerant and meets commercial safety standards (UL-471).
Cons
-
Single Temperature Zone: Only one cooling zone, not ideal if you want to store reds and whites at different optimized temperatures.
-
No Advanced Smart Features: Lacks Wi-Fi or smart app controls; basic digital panel only.
-
Efficiency & Ratings: Not Energy Star rated, so it may use more energy than more efficient models.
-
Door Hinge Limits: The door is not reversible, if placement requires left swing, you may need the separate left-hand model (CL155WCLHD).
-
Size Constraints: Despite good bottle count for its class, capacity may still be limiting if you have a large collection.
Conclusion
The CL155WC is a well-rounded, attractive under-counter wine storage solution with thoughtful features and strong bottle capacity for its size. It is especially compelling if you value aesthetics and user convenience over advanced smart features and multi-zone cooling.
