How Column Freezers Work with Column Refrigerators
Column appliances split the refrigerator and freezer into two separate units that are installed side by side, usually with a small trim kit or filler between them. Because each column is chosen on its own, you can match a 30-inch refrigerator with an 18-inch freezer, or two 30-inch columns for a large family. Many brands also sell matching wine columns.
