Portofino vs Professional: What Is the Difference?
The Portofino Series is Smeg's colorful pro-style line, offered in finishes like the red CPF36UGMR as well as stainless steel. In this guide, the Portofino models have 20,000 BTU top burners, continuous cast-iron grates and a storage drawer.

Fuel Type and Installation
All-gas ranges like the CPF30UGGX need a gas line and a standard 120-volt outlet. Dual fuel models like the SPR30UGMX and CPF36UGMR need both a gas line and a 240-volt circuit for the electric oven. The induction SPR36UIMX needs only electricity, on a 240-volt, 50-amp circuit.
